1. Who we are
Caraoke.com.br is a free online karaoke platform operated by Diwel ("we"). This policy explains, in plain language, what information is collected when you use the site, how it is used and what your rights are. It complements the Diwel privacy policy, the data controller.

2. What data we collect
Caraoke.com.br was designed to work without any sign-up. Even so, for the service to operate and for us to improve the experience, some data is processed:
- Name entered in the queue: when adding a song, you type a name (or nickname) that appears in the party queue. This name is used only to organize the karaoke session and is discarded when the session expires (within 24 hours of inactivity).
- Technical access data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type (phone, computer, TV), language and approximate location (city/region, derived from the IP). This data is used for security, usage statistics and service improvement.
- Karaoke session data: the songs searched and added to the queue, and the session history, kept temporarily so the real-time queue works.
- Local preferences: we save preferences such as your name, language and alert settings in your browser storage (localStorage) — this data stays on your device only.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Run the site: session cookies to remember your language and keep the karaoke session connected.
- Metrics (Google Analytics): we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, time on site, traffic source). The data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
- Advertising (Google AdSense): we display ads served by Google to keep the service free. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also disable third-party cookies in your browser settings or at www.aboutads.info.
4. Third-party services
- YouTube: karaoke videos are played through the embedded YouTube player, subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google AdSense and Google Analytics: as described in the cookies section.
- Mercado Livre: the "Shop" page contains affiliate links to products on Mercado Livre. When you click, you are taken to their site, which has its own policies.
5. Push notifications
If you enable the "your turn to sing" alerts in the remote list, the browser will ask for permission to send push notifications. This permission is optional, used exclusively for karaoke queue alerts, and can be revoked at any time in your browser settings.
6. Legal basis and the LGPD
We process personal data in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law no. 13,709/2018 — LGPD), based on legitimate interest (security and service improvement), consent (notifications, personalized advertising) and the performance of the requested service (the karaoke queue).
You have the right to: confirm the existence of processing, access your data, correct it, request anonymization or deletion, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email contato@caraoke.com.br.
7. Retention and security
Karaoke sessions (queue, history and names) expire and are automatically deleted after a period of inactivity. Technical access data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described. We adopt reasonable technical measures (HTTPS, access control, data minimization) to protect the information.
8. Children and teenagers
The site can be used in a family setting (such as kids karaoke), always under the supervision of a responsible adult. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; the only data typed into the service is the name/nickname shown in the queue, and we recommend it does not contain identifiable data of minors.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the service or in the law. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. Relevant changes will be highlighted on the site.
